This easy to navigate and affordable service allows users to receive quarterly information about the change in status of any employee’s drivers licence (who may operate a vehicle in his/her employment capacity) This timely service costs only $5 a year per driver.
In addition, as a user of the system, carriers can also order a MTO detailed (3 year) driver abstract, with overnight electronic ability, for a $10 fee per driver - $2 less than the MTO’s $12 abstract fee . Carriers are reminded that the National Safety Code, which governs the CVOR Facility Audit Program, states that carriers are required to have an up-to-date abstract on file for every driver:
Carriers must have on file, as part of their personnel, payroll records a current driver abstract issued within the last 12 months… (NSC Page 15-12, section 3(a)(iii))
