Another major win for Ontario's infrastructure development industry! The Ontario government introduces legislation to protect road and highway workers.

👏 ORBA welcomes today’s introduction of Working for Workers 6 by Ontario’s Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development David Piccini. 
This groundbreaking legislation includes vital amendments to the Highway Traffic Act which will require motorists to reduce their speed and change lanes when approaching road maintenance workers, protections which currently exist for first responders and tow trucks.

We commend Premier Doug Ford, and Ministers Piccini and Prabmeet Sarkaria for their commitment to building Ontario and protecting our workers.
